Submitted Tips – Food Edition

I have tons of food tips that have been submitted over the past couple months. This week I’ll be focusing on food, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, and summer. There’s a lot to cover, some incredibly talented women to feature, and lots of yummy recipes to try out. Enjoy!

Bonnie submitted her post on How to Make Japanese Gyoza (Dumplings). She says these are so delicious and really easy to make.

Christy submitted her tip on how to tell if you can still use those outdated eggs.

Heidi submitted her Dinner Conversation Starter Jars; to get talking around the dinner table, I decorated a little jar and used it to put slips of paper that had conversation starter questions on them.

ShaRee submitted her food centerpieces. For the youth we made a lighthouse out of rice krispie treats, complete with a light at the top and a sign that says Stand steadfast and immovable…A light for others to follow.

The boulders were made of donut holes, cream puffs, whoopers, choc. covered raisins and the coconut surrounded the rocks and island. Blue tablecloth water and some gummy sharks and fish. The pretzel rods say “A call to the world, Return to Virtue”.

    I appreciate the egg tip, honestly, this is something I’ve always wondered about.
    I also like the dinner conversation starter container. My husband could truly benefit from this with our kids. Sometimes, they are so busy working they get a tad “out of towch”.
