New Year's Card for 2014

New Year's Card for 2014

Handmade Card by Beth Pingry for 2014, part of #SeasonsGivings Blog Hop, using Unity Stamps, Jillibean Soup papers, Clearsnap Ink, Ranger Ink Embossing Powder, and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L adhesives. Uses rubber stamping, heat embossing.

You Will Need...

  • Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L’s Creative Photo Corners, 3D Foam Stars, 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Squares
  • Jillibean Soup paper & stickers,
  • Unity Stamp,
  • Clearsnap Ink & Glitter
  • Ranger Ink embossing powder.
Just a Tip!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Stamp the sentiment onto green cardstock with white ink, add white embossing powder and heat emboss. .
  • Step 2: Trim cardstock around the sentiment, mount onto kraft cardstock. Add White Photo Corners, than adhere to card with 3D Foam Squares (I positioned them so they hold the photo corners onto the card, since the photo corners won’t be making contact with the card).
  • Step 3: Trim polka dot paper to 4 x 5 1/4″. Trim chevron paper to about 4 x 3/4″, adhere to polka dot paper, wrap with twine.
  • Step 4: Tie the twine in a simple knot.
  • Step 5: With a 3D Foam Star, remove the top layer to reveal adhesive side, cover with glitter. Place 3D Foam Star on top of knot.
  • Step 6: Add stickers above the chevron paper, add more photo corners, and adhere to kraft card front, cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″.
