Thanksgiving Craft

by Laurie on November 22, 2007

Here’s a festive Turkey cake my mom made for my boys today. It’s made out of a large round chocolate cake and a smaller chocolate cake. The head is two “ding dongs”. Yummy!

This hand print turkey and foot print turkey place mat is my favorite craft that my oldest son did in pre-school.

This year I decided to start a new tradition in my family inspired by the Tablecloth and make a new Thanksgiving themed place mat every year. This year we made Turkey hand prints. Next year maybe we’ll do foot prints. ;)

Here’s a cute turkey cookie “name card”. It’s made of 2 cookies, candy corn, a bon-bon, with a felt turkey head and squiggly eye. Then spell out each guests name in icing.

Here’s a different view.

Cute stuff! And we did the placemats too. I blogged about it. I should’ve made one for myself to keep like yours….I guess I can do that next year. Happy Turkey day!
