How To Make a Table The Shabby Chic Cottage hooked us up with this How to Paint a Farmhouse Table {wood finishing} with a step by step guide to get a multi-layer paint finish. This is an amazing Farmhouse Table {refinishing table} from Jennelise.  For the top, a whitewash of a yellow paint so the grain of the pine didn’t stand out as much and than stained it pecan and than on top of the pecan stain and mostly around the edges I used a gel walnut stain. Krystal teaches us how to build a media cabinet using this free pattern, PLAN:Those Red Rustic Media Cabinets.  Those illustrations make it seem so easy. How To Make A Coffee Table I'm loving this trash to treasure Blue Coffee Table from Melissa.  She's a dear friend and amazing decorator.  This garage sale treasure finds a new life once painted a punchy shade of blue. I've featured this before, but I just adore this DIY Coffee table re-do.  See the new top just sitting on top of the old top which I painted to match the legs? You can’t tell it’s not just part of the table.

Free Picnic Table Plans Free Picnic Table Plans - Janae made this picnic table out of 2/3rds of a pallet, some scrap 2x4s I found, and one or two new 2x4s stud length. (At $2 a stick, that’s $4 out of pocket) and used the same measurements as the big kid’s picnic table for the legs. Bigger Kids Picnic Table Plans are here. Once upon a time there was a little outdoor picnic table I picked up from the thrift. I simply carried it into the house as is and left it. I fell in love with the white distressed top and deep chocolate legs and added signage wording on top.
