What Is Baby Shower?
Just in case you were wondering what is a baby shower and what it’s purpose, here you go!
Its is a way to celebrate the pending or recent birth of a child by presenting gifts to the parents at a party. The term “shower” is often assumed to mean that the expectant mother is “showered” with gifts.
I just love a party and celebrating a new member of a family is the perfect reason to host a celebration! If you’re looking for some new ideas or themes to celebrate baby, consider yourself hooked up!

1. “B is for Baby Shower …and Baby Boy Baron. We took the Birds & the Bees to a whole other level with this retro inspired party featuring a warm yellow, white and gray color palette. We started off by finding adorable yellow and grey floral patterned fabric and designed custom linens trimmed with bright yellow burlap.
2. How Tweet it Is Baby Shower Theme {to-host} – Kaysi submitted these lovely pictures that she put together for her friend Kellee. The theme was “How Tweet It Is”, and it featured lots of birdie elements throughout. Kaysi created the invitations, roseballs, centerpieces, and favor boxes.
3. Baby Gender Reveal Party - I ADORE this idea of hosting a get together to reveal the gender of an expected baby. It’s such an exciting thing and in this day of ultrasound it often gets overlooked. Sarah hid a gumball inside each cupcake revealing the gender.
4. Blue and Green Dessert Buffet – Jen made this Blue and Green Dessert Buffet for her daughter’s 13th birthday party, but it would also look great for a bridal or baby. She lists the whole menu for you.

6. Milk and Cookies Party – Milk and Cookies is currently a very popular theme for a party. Which makes sense – can’t go wrong with cookies, right? I love the old-school milk pail on the dessert table.
5. She’s About to Pop Baby Shower – Fun, colorful, modern take on a shower. Includes free printables! There was 80′s POP music, cake POPS, Tootsie POP invites, and even POP art of the mother-to-be.
7. Golden Books Party Theme – Books are a great topic for gathering a bunch of women (as book clubs have proved) to reminisce, share advice and anticipate all the great memories that will be created by new moms reading to their children. This Golden Books inspired party includes free printables!
8. Apple-Of-My-Eye Baby Shower - Katie decided to keep this shower in style with the mommy. She has a modern flair and the colors she picked for the nursery were so fun! Aqua, green and brown. Since green apples went perfectly with these colors we ran with an Apple theme.
9. Pink Birdie Shower – This party is so gorgeous. It is soft and feminine. It’s sugar and spice and everything nice – just what you want to welcome a new baby girl into the world.

Ice Cream Parlor Party Theme {Free Printables} – I absolutely love the idea of ‘Make your own Sundaes’ for a party because it adds an element of creativity and fun to your event and is so easy to do. Guests have the thrill of customizing their sundaes with a whole variety of colorful sugary toppings.
11. Bow Tie Baby Shower - I love the way bow ties were incorporated into nearly every aspect of this party, including invitations, food and decorations.

Actually, I really do like them all. Great ideas are there plus wonderful inspiration that each of them showed. I must say that baby shower this days is a trend that any newly moms would like to consider having. Cool stuff or souvenirs are distributed plus wonderful and colorful cupcakes which are so yummy, plus of course the theme of the said baby shower.

That is good that we are able to get the home loans moreover, this opens new possibilities.
Purchase a baby tub and fill it with baby diapers, socks, rattles and booties, and place it at the entrance.

my daughter and i are throwing a baby shower for my son and his girlfriend who are due on the 23rd of aug. she likes zebra print, so we are doing a black and white zebra print shower with purple accents-{ I am so sick of pink- all you ever see is pink for girls!} we will let you know how it goes! i just found your site and i love it!!! i see me doing many of your projects n the future.
