“Sew Easy” Card

This is a card that I made for my mom. The flowers and “Celebrate” sentiment were cut using my Cricut machine. I used the Sew Easy tool from We R Memory Keepers to punch the holes for the stitching around the perimeter. I also used foam adhesive squares to make the flowers pop off the page.

Just a Tip!
Difficulty: For Beginners
Budget: Cheap
Estimated Time: Under 30 minutes

You Will Need...

  • cardstock, scrapbook paper, flower die cuts (Cricut), buttons, foam pop dots, embroidery thread and needle (We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy tool)

Instructions

# 1

To create a 5x7 card, fold a 7x10 sheet of cardstock in half.

# 2

Cut three strips of coordinating scrapbook papers and glue them to the top half of the card.

# 3

Use a die cut machine to cut three flowers from the papers that you used in step two and attach them to the card using foam pop dots.

# 4

Further embellish the flowers by adding buttons (using glue dots) for their centers.

# 5

Add sentiment to the top of the card (can be die cut, letters, etc.)

# 6

Add stitching to the perimeter of the card. Easy peasy ~ that's all!
