How to Make Labels Using Paint Chips

I looooove labels, who wouldn’t love something that helps you when organizing?
Rather than spending money on pretty labels, create your own free using paint chip swatches! You are able to customize colors, fonts, style to your personal taste, and are quick and easy to make!

You Will Need...

Basic: Large paint chip swatches, hole punch, twine
Advanced (optional): Avery clear gloss printable label sheet, laminating sheets, gift wrapping paper.

Steps

# 1

1 & 2:Create a template with your first paint chip...trace the desired shape and size and cut! Use this to cut as many label tags as you need. Optional Step 2. Using template, cut a backing to your label tags using your favorite wrapping paper. Adhere using double stick tape, or glue.

3. Mark your label tag. Or if you don't like handwritten tags, use a label maker. For custom fonts use Avery clear printable labels to create a clear stick on. Available is my pdf printout for these circular labels.
