- bead board or any flat surface
- frame or wood panels to make a frame
- cutting tool/ saw
- 6 brackets with hardware
- pegs (used 5)
- drill to create holes
- nails or liquid nails
- paint
- paint brush
- wood putty if needed
- picture frame hardware for hanging
