Want a Blog Like a Micro-Celebrity? {Free Bloggy Boot Camp Ticket}

Update:  The winner is Rebecca! {whoohoo!}

“I want to be a Tip Junkie, too!  How did you do it?” Right now I get that question {or something similar} in my e-mail DAILY.  You are all so talented and creative that I have no doubt you can succeed at this! My advice, if you really want to know how to work from home and become a professional blogger, you should go to the SITSgirls Bloggy Boot Camp!

I’ve known Tiffany since SITSgirls.com was only a few months old and I swear she is one of the smartest-kindest-passionate-giving woman you’ll encounter in this business.  Tiffany is the real deal and dedicated to helping other women and mothers arm themselves with the tools to use your blog as a platform to gain personal and professional success.

What is Bloggy Boot Camp?

Bloggy Boot Camp is a one day blog and social media conference for women hosted in major cities all around the U.S. It is hands down one of the most convenient, inexpensive and co-operative events around. Everyone, from brand new bloggers to experienced social media mavens, can benefit from this experience.

I’ve spoken at several Bloggy Boot Camps and Tiffany makes sure that each session has practical take-aways that you can incorporate immediately and easily.  It’s the perfect place to start whether you’re just considering starting a blog or if you’ve been blogging for under a year. I promise, attending a blog conference will help jump-start your blog and help you realize your goals a lot quicker than you could on your own.

    Hi Laurie, So what do I want to learn about blogging? Where do I start? Like many, probably the main thing is to increase my audience size without having to follow every single blog out there and join in every hop possible and to hone in on my niche.

    Thanks for the giveaway! I would loove to go!

    I would really LOVE to learn how to turn my blog into a business blog. I work so hard to make it enjoyable for my readers but working full time as a techer and raising two small boys, and trying to be a wonderful wife in the mean time is taking it’s toll on my brain – and my laundry pile! I would love to reap some monetary benefits from my blogging obsession. Maybe one day I can live my dream by becoming a stay at home blogger!

    I’m having a hard time finding the dates for the Seattle BBC. I don’t want to sign up if I can’t go. Otherwise, I’d love to go to BBC in Seattle. I’d want to learn more about creating good content and organizing the types of posts I write. I’m also working on a business blog and could use more advice with that. Thanks, Katharine

In order to justify making this happen for BBC, I could use the jump start winning a ticket would provide! Introductory humour:

    with an email address like mine, I often say to people:

    “After all, you REALLY couldn’t have just ONE Bruce Martin on Google, could you! – The whole world’s there!”

    With that you will remember my email address! (“In association”, remindful of the words of Dale Carnegie who said “We remember by association.”

    That said, ladies, Let me give you a bit of a bio for this old guy who spent 2 years attending Mary Kay meetings because his wife, at the time, could not drive for medical reasons to get to meetings. I also attended 2 seminars, and loved it all. N.S.D. Darlene Ryan-Rioux, in the Eastern Ontario to Quebec region was an exceptional leader and we all learned, not just those ladies seeking to make money out of doing the MK business.

    I also acquired a very special platonic friendship out of all that which lasts far beyond the day when neither she nor my wife are medically in a position to be doing the MK business.

    Yes we all see the importance of supportive spouses, and I was very happy (if blinded by the lights) to stand on stage with a bunch of the other MK spouses in the 1993 seminar in Toronto.

    Now, at retirement age, I have a different cause for looking into blogging. That is why I am here, to see what seem to be some of the ground rules, especially for a blog type that has the potential to become a multilingual hot potato.

    In me tercero lingua: ¡Ay Mucho Camina!

    “J’ai fait du chemin!”

    In English, I could say “I’ve been a long road,” However English being so pragmatic, unlike the romance languages has a harder time capturing the true impact, although it is much better caqptured when the voice is heard.

    I have also done 4 years as a Toastmasters member, but again, I had a conscientious concern about the hot potato issue. More about that later.

    Because I have a diverse technical background of about 50 years, I also have some ideas to control the ultimate cost of hosting for the size and nature of what I plan to do, without being too beholding to any one collaborator.

    Now you have a starting bio, I will continue to look around and see what’s really what!

    Cheers,

    Bruce M10
