What to Do With Old Jewelry

One day I was thinking about what to do with old jewelry. I came up with lots of ideas! Here are some of them.

I bought a vintage bracelet at a tag sale, took off the clasp at either end and glued and wired it to a stainless steel serving spatula! Wala! I surprised myself that these came out so well. It’s something special to use myself or to give as a gift! I was going to give them as gifts for Valentine’s Day for my daughters but it didn’t happen!

Then I bought 2 large serving spoons at Target for $1.99 and added a bracelet (taken apart in 2 pieces) and a pair of vintage earrings in the same way. I use Fabri Tac glue which is great for anything! Then I used wire and went around and around the spoons (separately, of course) and secured the end of the wire around the back. Bling! Bling!

This was so much fun to do, making something from old jewelry!
