Here is the tutorial that we made for our Lego Costumes. We got our inspiration for this costume from instructables.com We wore these costumes to a coworker’s Halloween party as well as trick-or-treating with our nieces.
Lego Halloween Costumes {how-to}
You Will Need...
- Quick Tube
- Packaging Tape
- Yellow Spray Paint
- Foam for padding on inside
- Dremel to cut out eye holes and mouth
- sand paper or sander
- Vacuum for clean up
- Spray Glue
- Installation Foam
- Safety Glasses
- Boxes for bodies
- Shirts to match bodies
- yellow Rubber gloves
Instructions
First cut the Quik-Tube to the right size to cover your face.
Cut the circles that you will need for the top and bottom of the heads. It is easier if you have objects to trace.
Glue all of the circles together. 2 together for the top, 2 together for the bottom, and 3 of the small ones for the nob on top.
Sand the larger circles so they have the shape that is needed. Then cut out the hole for your head to fit through on one of the larger sets that is glued together.
We created a little stand to put the head on and started to spray paint it yellow. I think if we had used primer, it would have needed less coats.
Once dry, cut up foam and put inside so it is comfortable to wear and won't tip when you look down.
Also, add black fabric to the inside of the head so it looks black. I used double sided tape since my fabric was slippery.
Then we spray painted them too.

Amazing!
Great job Jessica! My boys would die if my man and I dressed up as Lego people this Halloween. We’re quite addicted to legos. {wink}
