Super Saturday is an annual craft day that is traditionally held in October at my church. It’s a creative woman’s mecca of handmade home decor, gift, and crafty ideas.
This year I’m in charge of coming up with fresh and fabulous items for all the women at church to make. Since I’m in the brainstorm phase, I thought I’d share with you my recent finds. Consider it Christmas in July.

Melissa – believe it or not I’ve been in the primary (working with the young kiddos) 9 out of the 13 years I’ve been married. I had this job once before but it only lasted 4 months. So we’ll see how this one goes. {{fingers crossed}}
I’ve thought that my advent calendar would make a great super Sat. project. Then you would actually have it done in time to use for Christmas!

I’ve got some of those exact projects in my “to make” file. I sure wish I could come to your Super Saturday, our ward doesn’t do it anymore.
When I was the enrichment leader, our most popular crafts were vinyl lettering projects, and these pumpkins.

The advent calendar is really cute. Do you know someone who does that vinyl lettering?
I love the ideas! Can’t wait to see more. I just feel so overwhelmed planning all this, being the enrichment leader hasn’t been too tough until Super Saturday comes along. How many crafts total will you end up with?

I’ve Googled for hours trying to find that “Christ” wood pattern with no luck. I’ve done it on several occasions for a couple hours each. I’ve also left another comment on the blog I found it asking her for some sort of contact information to the person who did the class at her church.

I wish I could find this original kit but have also spent hours searching and have not found it. I did have a friend tip me off to a company out of Salt Lake City, Utah called the wood connection. They make letters and other kits. They do not have the Christ kit but they do have similar letters and other wood shapes, like stars. You could come up with something close.

Buildings are quite expensive and not everyone can buy it. However, credit loans are created to aid people in such cases.
