How To Make

1.  Cut an 8″ row of colored duct tape.  I used the zebra patterened.

2.  Fold the right side of the duct tape into the middle.

3.  Fold the left side of the duct tape into the middle.  This gives the bow clean edges and protects itself for future use.

4.  Cut a 2″ strip of solid duct tape.

5.  Next cut that 2″ strip in half to make a smaller single 2″ strip of tape for the middle of the bow.

6.  Take the solid strip of duct tape and fold it almost in half.  Be sure to leave some sticky part open so that it will adhesive to the bow.

Fold The Bow

7.  The next step is folding the bow into itself.  The first thing you want to do is fold the two outside edges down.  This will make sure that the duct tape bow ends up pretty.

8.  Now pinch the insides so that it accordions into itself and makes 3 little creases on each side.  This might take a little practice.  But make sure that our outer two edges day folded down, not up.

9.  Fold the solid duct tape around the center of the bow to secure it together.  If you need to, you can add a tiny strip of duct tape to the edge to make sure it’s secure.

10.  Add a bobby pin through the back of the solid duct tape and you’re ready to put it in your hair! {or wherever}
