I have long windows, but traditional curtain rods can be expensive for long lengths. What’s a frugal DIY-er to do? Go to your local hardware store, and spend $4 for all need supplies to make a 10 foot curtain rod! Super easy.

I’ve been doing this for years! It holds up heavy curtains equally well. AND…..you can spray paint them to match the room!
