DIY Coffee Table {re-do}
My original plan was to take off the top entirely and make a new top to place on it after I had painted the legs a new avocado color and antiqued them. The problem was the entire top was glued down so tight that I could not get it off.
So what’s a girl to do but just screw the new boards directly on top of the old top. See the new top just sitting on top of the old top which I painted to match the legs? You can’t tell it’s not just part of the table.
Then I stained it and put several coats of polyurethane.
