I love a before and after furniture repair tutorial. Tip Junkie is full of them because old furniture restoration completely inspires me.
Here’s a brief furniture repair tutorial where second hand furniture like this bachelor pad coffee table got a second chance and a beautiful new beginning from the Clumpsy Crafter.
The top ended up not being all wood. Apparently just parts of it were MDF and they buckled over the years. So the top was no longer flat.
So what’s a girl to do but just screw the new boards directly on top of the old top.
See the new top just sitting on top of the old top which I painted to match the legs? You can’t tell it’s not just part of the table.
I absolutely adore the avocado green paint that she used for the legs and base. It’s absolutely gorgeous!
