Step #4

Let the paint dry completely. Once paint is dry, spray a coat or two of flat black on top of the looking glass paint. This will give it an antiqued look as the black will show through where you removed the mirror paint. Because I was putting these plates on my dinner table I did not want the bottoms of the plates to be all black. I did a quick coat of silver paint over the black (when it was dry) to give it a more finished look. Once dry, flip it over and admire your work!
