I have tested the “Atelier Petits Beurre” kit from Larousse Editions to bake them, and ….so delicious !

It contains a little recipe book and a cutter pastry

How to bake French Petits Beurre Biscuits

You Will Need...

  • The "Atelier Petits Beurre" kit from Larousse Editions
  • 1 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup salty butter
  • 1/4 tea spoon water
  • 1/4 tea spoon salt
  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 tea spoon baking soda

Instructions

Pour white sugar, butter, water and salt into a saucepan Boil it Let it rest for 20 minutes Mix flour and baking soda into a dish Add the saucepan content into it and mix the whole cake dough Wrap the dough into some clingfilm and put it to the fridge for 3 hours

After 3 hours, preheat the hoven to 250 F Flour the table and spread the dough thinly

Use the cutter pastry to prepare the little biscuits Separate the biscuits into the dough

Transfer the little biscuits to a buttered baking sheet and set in a the hoven

Cook the little biscuits for about 12 minutes until they get a little brown on the corners, and it's all set ! Bon appetit mes chéries !
