Super cute and super easy cookies that would be perfect for a themed party or that person in your life interested in working out/weight lifting! Even I can handle lifting these weights! It somewhat defeats the purpose, but how cute are these barbell cookies!?
All you need are cookies, candiquik candy coating, pretzel rods, and cake writing icing.
Chocolate Barbell Cookies
Just a Tip!
Difficulty: Very Easy
Budget: Cheap
Estimated Time: Under 30 minutes
You Will Need...
- 1 package Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies
- 6 oz. Chocolate CANDIQUIK Coating
- (5) pretzel rods
- (10) LifeSaver’s Gummies
- optional: 2 oz. Vanilla CANDIQUIK
Instructions
Melt Chocolate CandiQuik according to the package directions. Break the ends of the pretzel rods off, so that each rod is approximately 5-6″ long. Spoon chocolate CandiQuik over the center of each pretzel rod, leaving about the last 3/4″ on each end uncoated.
Slide 3 cookies onto each end of the pretzel rods, set on wax paper to dry. The coating will help the cookies stay in place (so do this while the coating is still wet). Stretch out the Gummy Saver candies in order to slide onto the ends of each pretzel rod.
