Have a little one that loves Jungle Book? Then, this is the right party for you! Make safari vests and go on a safari hunt looking for animals! Then, participate in an elephant march wearing an elephant’s trunk. Soak Shere Khan with water balloons game. Use a parachute to launch a monkey in the air. Lots of monkey business!

Invitation- "Have you herd? The King of the Jungle is turning 2!" (on outside) "Swing on over to xxxxx on xxx at xxx. We'll have snacks, cake, and lots of monkey business" (on inside)
Decorations: used white and orange tablecloths from Wal-mart. Used a permanent marker to make stripes. Drew Kaa the snake and had him slithering out of a jungle tree. Green streamers for vines.
Safari Hunt: had jungle animals hidden all over backyard. Jungle animal had a baggie with stickers in them. For example, the Tiger had a baggie with Tiger stickers in it. The kids decorated their Safari vests, put on hats and binoculars. Went on a Safari to find 6 jungle animals. They put a sticker on their map when they found the jungle animal.
Elephant March: Kids put on elephant trunks. Marched in a circle on sidewalk chalk. I tapped down a piece of brown paper on the circle somewhere. Played the Elephant March song from the movie Jungle Book. Kids marched in a circle to the music. When the music would stop, whatever "elephant" was stuck in the mud would get to come pick out a jungle sucker to go in their favor box.
Soak Shere Khan: drew a picture of Shere Khan. Taped it to a pole. Had the kids throw water balloons at him.
