    Hey Laurie!

Fab ideas, yet again. Our kids don’t start school until September 2nd, but the panic is already setting in… Love the clothes shopping list. It’s amazing how much those little legs and arms grow over the summer!

    Enjoy your weekend!

Those are great ideas I can modify for my oh-so-cool 12 year old (…who I swear is 12 going on 30!)

I have two tips to share:
    1. My kiddo brown bags her lunch and one thing I like to do is put stickers on her sandwich baggies. She has a dark and twisted sense of humor and would gag if I used something cute and/or smiley, so I use letter stickers and spell out words like: “salmonella” or “100% donkey bologna” or “don’t eat this.” She thinks it’s funny, and nobody forces her to trade at the lunch table.
    2. I go to the dollar store and pick up party supplies like luau napkins and bright green forks/spoons and tiki straws. Every now and then I pack her lunch with these supplies (and maybe a spare for a friend) to make lunch more exciting.
