Hi! I am a crocheter and knitter. My mom and godmother taught me to crochet when I was 9. I still have the blanket I made. My mom would buy me a new skein of yarn whenever I finished one. The blanket is multicolored and I finally finished it about 5 years ago. It was long and narrow and I finally made it wider! I taught myself to knit about 10 years ago. I am a better and faster crocheter and I can do more with crochet. I guess I am advanced. I love making scarves, baby items, hats, blankets, hair accessories, flowers…I LOVE crocheting everything!

I crochet for fun an relaxation. I just recently (< 1 year) learned by watching left handed videos on youtube! I knit right handed as my mother was right handed. Alas, she couldn't crochet. So, when my right handed daughter learned from my right handed mother-in-law I decided it was time to teach myself.
I recently returned from a 6 month work assignment in Hawaii. I made coasters and dishclothes for people to remember me. A handmade gift always warms my heart.
