I just started crocheting a year ago and am almost finished a Christening set for my sister who is expecting her first baby! I have already crocheted afghans and shawls/scarves for friends and family and now I’m moving on to more “structured” items….

I’m an avid crocheter and I use a lot of Red Heart Supersaver. It’s great, durable yarn and I can make hats and scarves for my husband and not worry that it’s going to wear out quickly. I have always wanted to learn how to knit ever sense I was 8! This summer I finally found someone who could show me some basic stuff. I had to learn left handed because my friend was so it was kinda funny, a right handder knitting left handed. It makes videos on Youtube pretty hard to learn from videos because most are knitting right handed.I’m so thrilled I can now make some fantastic things. I’m still learning but sadly money is skint and I keep running out of yarn all the time.. I’m also teaching myself to crochet. I think crocheting is so beautiful! So far I’m getting nowhere but at least I can do the basic stitch.
I would really appreciate if I won this little package. The magazine looks fantastic and the yarns are so beautiful! I have yet to try the fancy yarns. I usually go for the acrylic Red Heart basic colors.
