The kitchen is truly the center of our home. We blow out the candles on the birthday cakes, make our annual Halloween gingerbread house, craft, and have silly conversations at the dinner table. It also seems like every time we have friends over, everyone is drawn to the kitchen! We end up laughing, eating, and solidify our friendships. The kitchen is an important room in my home.

I think I’d give it to my mother-in-law. She has no dishwasher, garbage disposal, or much counter space and it was that way even when she had 8 kids in the home.
I would knock out the wall between my kitchen and living room and make it one big room. Then add new counter tops, a bar and cabinets.
i was just talking to a friend about this today! I would replace my countertops and add a backsplash. We have laminate counters and it’s starting to bulge up at the seam..BOO
I would also add an island because my counterspace is small.
$15000 would be a dream for my dream kitchen. I would open up my space so my family could all gather for the holidays or even a weekday dinner. I love having family in my home anytime.
I love love love pledge….I have 3 grandsons living with us, 7months, 7years,and 8 years, so you know i have hand and foot prints everywhere! But the boys have learned to use our Pledge for all of those marks!!! Our only problem is they use it a lot, so we run out a lot!!! And as to the update, when the boys set on the counter(to help with cookies, or have face washed) it tips up, so sometimes they go flying!!!! so we would only use enough of the 15,000 for new counters, and maybe new dishwasher because the one we have isnt big enough, and neither is the fridge!!! come to think of it, the stove is kind of small too……but we make due!!! But we would love to win this contest, so we can make our kitchen more kid friendly! thank you again, sue Austin, Colin and Lucas
We would definitely buy a new stove and replace the countertops.
I would make my “cookie cutter” kitchen into something more fitting for our family.
I would redo my cabinets and find a way to add a nice pantry.
