Today, I’m going to show you how to make a scrap fabric and cardboard banner in 8 easy steps. This craft is perfect to make with kids and is fabulous for the winter time when a fun indoor activity is needed!
The idea I have to share with you today is a fun indoor project I made with the kids to send to grandma and grandpa. One of the things I love about this project is that I had all of the supplies on hand!
- Cereal boxes (or cardboard)
- Hole punch
- Scrap fabric
- Various embellishments
Here is how to make it:
First, pick a font that you’d like to use. Next, print the letters from the computer to be as big as you’d like. Then, cut them out, leaving small “tags” on the sides as shown above.
Secondly, trace the printed letters onto the cereal boxes and cut them out.
Thirdly, cut your scrap fabric into various sizes of rectangles and squares.
