This is a necklace that I made using conglomerate stones from Michael’s. It reminds me of the world being on a string because of the blue and green color scheme. It also has specks of yellow. The length of the necklace can be adjusted from bib length to the belly button! This is not a tutorial – more like a show-and-tell
I hope it inspired others.
DIY Adjustable Stone Necklace
Just a Tip!
Difficulty: For Beginners
Budget: Cheap
Estimated Time: Under 30 minutes
You Will Need...
- 6 stone disks (from Michael's), 12 small blue seed beads, 2 feet of chain, 5 eye pins, 1 head pin, 2 large jump rings, 3 medium jump rings, 20 small jump rings, clasp
Instructions
# 1
THIS IS NOT A GREAT TUTORIAL, but I can add pictures and better directions if desired.**** Place a small blue bead, a stone bead, and another blue bead onto an eye pin. Do this a total of 6 times (including the head pin). Attach three of the beads together end to end using small jump rings. Hang another bead between each of the three beads onto the jump ring. Use the bead with the head pin and attach the two hanging together so that it makes a triangle.
# 2
Create a pattern of jump rings (little circle, large circle, little circle) and attach to chain. Add the clasp at the end.
