How to Make An Easy Fall Floral Centerpiece {tutorial}

Here is a pictured tutorial on how to make an easy fall floral centerpiece!  You can use it as a fall centerpiece for Thanksgiving, hang what you’re grateful for on it, or use it as a fun fall idea.

This time of year has to be my favorite time of air. The air is crisp, the leaves are changing and the holidays are upon us. One of my favorite things about fall is the trees! I love the colors they change!

Easy Fall Floral Centerpiece

I wanted to make a tree centerpiece this year and came up with this fall craft that’s easy enough that even the kids could help.  Want to make one of your own?! Let’s get started..

Supplies You’ll Need:

  • Medium sized terra cotta bot
  • Tree branches
  • Fall Leaves (from the Dollar Tree)
  • Metallic Bronze Paint
  • Glue
  • Autumn mix candy

The first thing you’ll want to do is paint your terracotta pot. This step isn’t necessary, but I thought it would be fun to give it a distressed look. I only did one quick coat, because I wanted to see the original color through the metallic paint. You could paint it any color though, that’s the fun part!

The next thing your going to do is glue your branches together to create the perfect tree. I only used two branches, but you could definitely make a larger tree. Then I glued it to the base and filled it with a yummy autumn mix. Don’t you just love those little pumpkins? ;)

Finally I glued my leaves to the branches. You could even cut out paper leaves and create a “grateful tree” and have your family write down things they are grateful for.

This little tree now sits happily on my kitchen table. I love how friendly it is! :) See now wasn’t that simple? Anyone can make one of these, and for less than three bucks it is the perfect craft for you and your little ones!
