You Will Need...

• Fabric
• Mod Podge
• magnets
• Sawtooth Hangers
• Gorilla Glue
• 12 x 18" Sheet Metal from The Home Depot {26 gauge}

Instructions

# 1

Create a chore chart for each of your kids and print onto 11x14 legal-sized paper. I added everything! Their morning routine, chores, homework, band practice, baths, etc. This way the boys would be in charge of their own calendar and know what to expect each day.

Optional: To make the chore charts a little bigger and look more professional, I pasted them onto larger background paper. I simply used 12x12 textured scrapbook paper. I also laminated each chore chart to make it more durable and last longer.

Measure your fabric to the 12 x 18" Sheet Metal from The Home Depot {26 gauge}. Be sure to leave about 1" or so on each side.

Mod Podge the fabric onto the sheet metal. I used the Mod Podge very generously.

To hang on the wall, I used Gorilla Glue and glued Sawtooth Hangers stickers to the back of the sheet metal. Tip: If you don't use the Gorilla Glue, the hangers will fall off.

Use Avery Printable Magnet Sheets to print off the prearranged rewards and punishments for each child.

Add bubble stickers onto the printed affirmation stickers. I used these to mark each "chore" or responsibility that they had to do each day. They are small and fit into each square on the chart. Tip: If the magnets don't stick, they use gorilla glue to attach really tiny magnets to the back of each one.

Make the punishment and reward magnets the same way as the affirmation magnets. But this time use larger magnets.

   What program did you use to make the chore charts? Also, I wish there were closer up pics of the chore charts and the steps. I’m not sure what the bubble stickers are. If I could see everything it would be much easier to figure out. This is my fav command center so far!
