Tuesday Giveaway: Comment to enter to win a $35 gift card to Inspire Your Walls
Project of the Week: Kim w/ Reinvented has hooked us up with a tutorial for a Fall Front Porch. Darling!

Recently I was at a blogging conference, SITScation, and the sweetest Lady came up to me and said that Tip Junkie taught her how to blog. She was so sincere and so grateful for the blogging tutorials that I had featured and it had inspired her to start her own blog.
It was bitter sweet as it was seriously the nicest compliment. However, in that same moment I realized that over time I’ve gotten away from posting blogging tips. It hasn’t been intentional, I’ve just been interested in other things. {{wink}}
Therefore, for today’s Talk to Me Tuesday topic, I thought we’d all talk about what blogging means to us, what we’ve gotten out of it, why it’s not a waste of time. {{HA!}} You never know, maybe we’ll convince a lurker out there to find her own voice and start documenting her life. Also, if you’d like to include a blogging tip you’ve recently learned that would be fabulous as well.
Today I want you to tell me “Why Do You Blog”. Add your URL link to Mister Linky below.
How to Play: Link your “why I blog” blog posts to this post using Mister Linky. You must include my a link back to this post on Tip Junkie in order for your links to be eligible to play. (Simply edit your post and add the “Talk to me Tuesday” banner and/or a link back to this post.)
Entries will only be allowed until Saturday at 11 am Texas time to avoid spammers. Also, only link to your Talk To Me Tuesday post not your home page, those will be deleted. If you haven’t used Mister Linky before, here’s the low down (a.k.a rules).
YAY! I can’t wait to read the posts you’ve written by clicking on your links below.

Another nice Talk to Me topic!
Looking forward to reading what the others have to say!
It is indeed a great topic and it was loads of fun writing a reply to it
Fun! Thanks for hosting this one! Miracles, k-
I actually just started blogging and the reason I did is because I think so many of us have so much to offer and so much to learn from others experiences. I like to think I have a pretty humorous life and think others would get a kick out of it. Blogging to me is therapy!
If I always have your button on my sidebar, can I still play using a post I already wrote?
I blogged about this topic last week after hearing you speak at Sitscation! I came home from Vegas so excited and inspired. Thank you!
This is my first time playing and I have to say, I enjoyed it and look forward to next week.
I am loving this Laurie thank you so much for making us take part it in.
I just blogged about it looking forward to reading what other have to say
I blog to find harmony in my chaotic, crazy, beautiful, frenzied, blessed, dysfunctional, happy and did I say CRAZY life! Maybe others can relate?
Great idea! I have so much to say everyday and this is a great outlet for me! lol Plus I think that it’s great to share with others..let them know what is going on with you. Plus if you are honest, you find so many people out there that can relate to what you are going through…
I blog so other Moms can read my posts and say “oh! Thank gawd it’s not just ME”!
Thanks for providing the topic for which I have had fun reflecting upon! Love it!
Oops, wrong link, old blog…

I blog to help create a beautiful document of my life! In return I meet amazing friends!
Hi, Laurie! This is my first time linking up to you. Thanks for hosting!!
Yippee, my first party. Thanks for the topic. It’s always something good to think about.
I just started blogging and love it. I have one that is for family/friends and its great to keep them informed on what we are up to when they live so far away. My decor/craft blog is a great way for me to share the things I learn and create and just feel like I’m talking/sharing with somebody older than five years old from the comfort of my home.
