Teacher Appreciation Gifts

by Laurie on April 6, 2009

It’s time to send a little love to the men & women who take care of our kiddos day in and day out. Here are some teacher appreciation gift ideas that you can make to show how much your teacher means to you and your kids.

Emily made this darling holder for her teacher appreciation gift. It holds a packet of microwave popcorn and a gift card.

I just love Kristi’s teacher’s gift. This would also work great as a group gift from several mom’s. It is a 100 dollars bound together like a notepad and in between each page is a question that is answered about the teacher. The book is “100 things we love about Mrs. Smith

I just love teacher appreciation boards. You know how addicted I am to vinyl lettering. Here’s a DIY idea that you can do in a pinch from Lolly Jane.

3 ScrapBooking Ladies made these cute candy holders.

Stamper’s Dream Blog made a tutorial on how to make these darling candy bar wrappers.

The Creative Itch Boutique created a post-it note holder.

Shauna made this darling wall hanging using what her kiddos wrote about their teacher using the words in her last name.

Here are some Teacher Appreciation Poems from Thank You Note Examples.

I think tile signs are easy and make a great gift. Distinctive Designs has this one, “Learning is a treasure that will follow it’s owner everywhere.”

Briar received this fun “You’re Sweet” poster board made out of starbursts.

BoBunny has several really great teacher gift ideas. This altered box for treats is just darling!

Thanks Ladies! If you don’t already have an “I was Featured” button, feel free to copy the code and wear it proudly on your blog. These are fabulous!

Please heart on these sites! Delicious

Very cute gifts, but, ummm, please make sure you don’t have any grammatical errors – especially for a teacher’s gift! “Learning is a treasure that will follow IT’S owner everywhere”. “It’s” is a contraction meaning “it is”. When used as a plural, the correct spelling is “its”.

Thanks for letting us know. I didn’t notice that. Personally, I’m a terrible speller and my grammar is atrocious. I still can’t believe people let me blog. {{snicker}}

Just stopping back by to say how useful this site was over the holidays. I’ve got 3 teachers in the family, including my wife. Very useful site for presents this year and adding some ideas to my own secret santa shopper site and new section devoted to Teacher Gift Ideas.

Thanks!
