Oh Baby! Cute Baby Shower Ideas

by Laurie on August 29, 2008

Finishing up with our Baby Shower Bash, here are the rest of my super duper, over the top, baby shower ideas. Enjoy!

Baby Shower Invitation Ideas:

Take a look at this amazing invitation. Send me anything with candy and I’m there!

Maria threw a High Tea Baby Shower which turned out amazing. Be sure to check out her invitations, decor, food, and games.

Kristin’s got mad skills! These invitations turned out amazing. I totally want one. ;)

Baby Shower Food Ideas:

Tamaki, these cupcakes are way to pretty to eat! What a beautiful arrangement. That cupcake holder is divine.

A fruit stroller! What?!? I’m sorry but this is completely fabulous. I just may need to make one for the shower I’m throwing.

I’m loving these baby cupcakes from Wild Squirrel. What a fun idea.

Jenny submitted her great baby shower finger food ideas. Here are her cream cheese cinnamon rolls on a sick. Yummy!

Take a look at these cupcake lollies! I’ve got to do this for my son’s birthday.

Baby Shower Favor Ideas:

Tina submitted her votive candles with earrings that she gave as a party favor.

Kristy went all out for her baby shower. Here is the party favor she made for everyone. However, be sure to check out her blog – she also has decor & gift ideas as well.

I love the quote she used on her party favor, “A baby is born with a need to be loved – and never out grows it.” – Frank A. Clark

Amy submitted her custom water bottles. She made water bottles with the baby’s name and used as favors for the shower as well as the water for people to drink.

Leslie submitted her baby shower post. She had an invitation idea, these great Hershey’s bar party favors, and diaper cake idea. Be sure to check it all out.

Click here if you want a closer look on how to make HereHeIs or HereSheIs candy bar labels for announcements or party favors. Print them on blue or pink paper.

Karla made bath salts and packaged them so cute for party favors for her shower.

For the party favors Heidi found a pattern for these adorable little paper baby booties. She made them using cute pink scrapbooking paper from JoAnn’s and filled them with pastel butter mints.

Baby Shower Game Ideas:

Holly submitted her Ducks in a Row game that also doubles as decor.

Jamie made these life saver pacifiers for the “don’t say CUTE game”. She has tons of other ideas so be sure to go and check them out.

I noticed she’s a long time fan of Tip Junkie – before I had buttons. Hey Jamie! You rock, thanks for the support.

Baby Shower Gift Ideas:

Britney submitter her baby magnet boards and binkie clips. Amazing!

Deborah submitted these custom onesies. A onesie that can say anything! Or the Specific Presidential Onesies The hit of any shower she went to.

My Little Roo sells slipcovers for your snuggly. If you’re looking for a green baby shower gift, you just found one. ;)

I’ve seen a lot of diaper cakes the past couple days, but this one is my favorite! Look at all the love that went into it.

I’ll probably get in trouble for swiping this picture off Baby Lifestyles – but I couldn’t help myself. I’m a child of the 80’s and LOVE balloons. Can you imagine doing this for a shower? Fabulous!

To throw a Mod baby shower head on over to Swanky Tables, they’ll hook you up.

I am throwing a coed baby shower in October. Mom is expecting a baby girl. Mom’s favorite hobby is Rollerskating. I wanted to try to tie it into my theme somehow. I was thinking of the centerpieces being things babies roll in, for example: carriage, walker, wagon, tricycle etc. I need help with favors, invitations ideas/websites …..

Thanks In Advance,

Excellent job girls! I love the decorations, and just looking at those cinnamon rolls with cream cheese made my mouth water!
Seems those kangaroo-inspired carriers are the absolute hit everywhere. And the good thing is that it really helps moms. As for gifts for baby, you can never miss with extra diapers ;)
